Her school life
Anne attended Montessori school for Jews because of hitlers anti-Jew laws. Anne is the second girl in from the left. As you can see, Anne was surrounded by a group of friends. She was quite popular at her school. She thought it was fun that the boys fancied her so much, and enjoyed all of the attention. However, Anne describes that she never had any real friends. That is why her diary was her only friend to confide into.
Her Student Life
Anne was indeed a bright student. She had excellent grades. Her only trouble she ran into, was her constant chattering. Anne still struggled with this while living in the Annexe! She loved school, and was heartbroken when she found she had to leave.. :(
Her Family Life
Shown in this photo, is first Anne, Her mother, then her older sister Margot. As you can see, judging by the fur coat, Anne's family was rather wealthy. She never missed a meal, was kept up with the latest fashions, and got whatever she may have wanted. Anne was not spoiled however. (In my opinion.) As for her mother, Anne never really saw eye to eye with her. She found her mother complained much too often, and was somewhat bitter. Even if she still loved her mother, they did not share much common interest. However, her father, (not shown in this photograph,) was favoured by her. She adored her father, because he was humbled, generous, and caring. He always knew what to say. Annes relationship with her sister was ok. She loved her sister dearly, however, there is not much mention of her in the book. I really don't think that Anne and her sister had much of a common ground.
Her love life.
Anne's first love was a boy but one year older than her. His name was Peter Schiff. (Shown in the left photograph.) He would go out walking with her, and they spoke of things that they couldn't with anyone else. That is untill he stoppped coming to see her so often after a while. Peter's friends had convinced him to stop hanging around a child. That she knew nothing. Peter told Anne that he did not want to accompany her annymore. This had broken Anne's heart, and took her a long time to recover.
Her second and last love was Peter Van Daan. (Shown in the image below.) Anne had gone a great deal of time in the Annexe, not thinking of giving Peter a second look. That is untill she started to visit him in the attic. They started to play with the cat, Bosche, together. They would talk and joke with eachother. When it rained, they would sit together and watch the storm together. Anne recieved her first kiss from Peter. It was a dangerous game she played, becuase if they disputed, they were still forced to live together for, who knows how long? Sometimes, Anne would get her feelings for the two Peters confused in her head.
